Inside this conversation
The Work of His HandsWhat if the job you’ve been praying for is about more than earning a paycheck? In The Work of His Hands, Elias finds himself in a season of waiting—watching the world move forward while wondering when his own life will begin moving again. Unemployment has left him questioning his purpose, his value, and whether God still sees him.
But in the quiet of an ordinary evening, Elias begins to understand something deeper: work can be worship, purpose can exist in ordinary places, and waiting does not mean God has stopped working. This gentle Christian bedtime story invites you to release the pressure of figuring everything out tonight and rest in the assurance that God is present even in uncertain seasons. Through Elias’s journey, you’ll be reminded that the work of your hands matters—and that the God who gives purpose also knows how to open the right door at the right time.
Settle in, breathe deeply, and allow tonight’s story to quiet your thoughts as you rest in God’s presence.Shalom Rest — Sleep in Peace to Wake in Purpose.
